Hi, I'm Dylan, co-founder of one of the nation's most innovative health centers, and I'm obsessed with self-improvement. That's why I started a practice where every day, I get to help others improve themselves to break free of weight cycling and all the issues that come with it.

Over the past 5 years, I (with the help of my co-founder and mom Robin) have quietly helped hundred's of people with chronic illnesses to reverse their issues through lifestyle change. During that time, I noticed something really profound...

Nearly all my clients had tried to lose weight before and failed. But with our method and under our philosophy, they lost weight really reliably, and it stayed off.

That wasn't surprising to me. When you feed your body right, give it the fuel it desires, and optimize for health, then metabolism recovers and weight comes off as a byproduct. But what WAS surprising was how surprised, delighted, and sometimes ecstatic it made them feel.

It was like they were freed from a lifetime in bondage. Small things were earth-shattering, planet-altering breakthroughs for them, like 'not even thinking about fast food' or 'their favorite cookies tasting overwhelmingly sweet' or 'how can I eat so much and still lose weight?'. Then it dawned on me...

To me, this is no secret, but to most people, it's a whisper in the noise. In fact, it's like trying to hear a butterfly's wingbeat while sitting behind a 747 jet engine.

I've realized that so many people have been led astray on how to lose weight. People have been taught literally every conceivable way to cut calories and not feel it or otherwise mitigate the discomfort, they are taught to join exercise groups or buy gadgets that burn away the belly fat... and while these CAN help, if you keep ending up back at square one, then there's something else that ISN'T being addressed.

The key question here is not, do diet work? Or does exercise work?

It should be rephrased to: WHAT do diets work for? WHAT does gym weight loss work for?

I think they work great to knock off the pounds in the short-term. But for most of us, life isn't a short-term deal, is it? So, as time goes on, life gets in the way and can erode habits, especially if you don't know how habit science works.

The tendency for the overwhelming number of people is to follow the trend line towards more and more weight, slowly deteriorating health, and degrading quality of life.

I don't call that a solution, I call it a band-aid. And don't even get me started on GLP-1's. They are the epitome of band-aids for weight loss.

That's why we are introducing a program that focuses on reframing the narrative around weight loss.

This program doesn't force you into a calorie counting meal plan. It doesn't depend on an app to form human connections that pull you through the tough parts. It doesn't even make you exercise.

Instead, it's designed to direct all our effort and attention into actions that generate the most returns of lasting weight loss.

Notice two things here.

1) the goal is LASTING weight loss. Any weight loss that can't be sustained isn't real weight loss.

2) we are 100% invested in the things that are most likely to set up to achieve this goal. We spend 0% of our time on actions that might generate 'vanity' improvements or short-term wow's but long-term 'what nows'.

Basically, our objective in this 3 Week Intensive is to Reset the Board. Right now, too many things in your life, your surroundings, your environment, and whether you realize it or not, your head, is set up to sabotage you. You are like Indiana Jones trying to get the treasure, but being intercepted by every booby trap and evil enemy in the book [gif meme style of indie jumping through obstables labelled with text as 'stressed out' 'favorite snack in the cupboard' 'spouse wants to stop at mcdonalds']. The 'board' is set up against you. And if you don't like the way the board is set, flip over the table.

So, here's how we are going to reset the board.

1) For 3 weeks, you will eat only meals you cook yourself from recipes in our Magic Cookbook.

the magic cookbook is an assembly of all our past clients' favorite recipes. these recipes have been key to reversing chronic illness and become an integral part in many clients' lifestyles. but that's only half the magic. the other half is that by cooking, you are breaking bad habits of doordash, over-sugared/salted/fatty foods. One of the healthiest habits you can build is eating at home. The magic cookbook gives you enough boundaries to give you clear, concrete guidance and certainty that you will feel the difference after 3 weeks, while also encouraging autonomy to choose what you eat, another important skill to build a lifestyle that sustains weight loss.

2) Group environment. Many programs have done this well in the past, but abandoned it for . Some people want to make this a solo journey, and I respect that, but I don't think it lends for the most successful habit change. One thing you'll learn by working with us is to use your human nature to your advantage, and making it social is time-tested and proven to tilt the scales in your favor WHEN DONE RIGHT. That means positive energy, constructive accountability, and a team feel. Not sit a room together an go through the motions, and not overbearing we-need-to-cry-together feel either. When we reflect on what helped our past clients achieving their minor health miracles, two things stand out. We always put Education as a top priority. So many 'programs' will tell you how to get from A to B. But if you want to go from A to Z and beyond, you need to understand why you're doing what you're doing.

Most 'programs' focus only on what produces results in the short-term. That's basically nutrition and exercise. While those are obviously essential, they neglect the things that produce lasting results or cause long-term headwinds or drag people back into their old habits.

We know from treating disease with lifestyle that holistic health CANNOT be ignored if we want permanent results. Program Structure

Ok, let's break down the format and design choices behind the program.

A cohort of 15 women age 45+. Peer support is one of the most proven and reliable predictor of success in behavior change science, and really success at anything difficult. Yet, so few programs actually take the time to create a real group of peers that are close enough to yield these benefits. Selecting for age group means similar life experience, relatability, and the group size facilitates real connection and a 'team' feel. You'll be eating out of the same cookbook, coming to the same workshops, and contributing to team-wide weight loss goals. This all amounts to an actual community environment a significantly higher chance of permanent changes, and it also makes it an experience that is fun and engaging, not torture and white knuckling it yourself.

Curriculum Focuses by Month

The following serves as a broad-strokes roadmap of what we'll be working on month to month. We keep the learning focused and to the point, with a 15 minute video to watch at the beginning of every week that tells you what you're doing this week, why you're doing it, and exactly how you can make it happen. We'll get any bad info your brain has been stuffed with out and bring in real info tailored to you that you can carry the rest of your life.

Month 1 - Nutrition

You'll get our Magic Cookbook, your primary tool to learning what to eat and what not to eat. We know what people need - fast, easy, and affordable. Many are recipes that our clients over 5 years have raved about, and many are new ones specially designed for this weight loss program. This book makes it really easy - eat from the book, get the results, and plenty for everyone, even the picky eaters among us.

Month 2 - Tier 2 Weight Loss Priorities

Nutrition is the primary lever with weight loss, but so many other factors in the body play a role in lasting weight loss, such as sleep, stress, hormones, exercise, health issues and diagnoses, what's going on in your environment, just to name a few. We'll make sure address these 'amplifiers' to gain momentum on our positive trajectory.

Month 3 - Refinements and Future-Proofing

It takes 3 months to make a new habit, and so we want to take some time to really make it yours. This process will set you up for a resilient new lifestyle to continue progress independently.

Requirements

There's a few requirements to participate in the program.

1) Must be able to attend In-Person Cohort Orientation on Sat, June 6 (Orientation, 1.5 hrs). Highly recommended you attend other Cohort In-Person Meetings: Sat, June 27 (1 hour), Sat July 25 (1 hour), Sat August 22 (Wrap Up, 1 hour)

2) We record all in-person and online workshops. You must be willing to be recorded. Content will not be shared outside the program.

3) You're a female aged 45 or over.

4) You're open-minded, willing to try something different to get sustainable weight loss through lifestyle change.

5) You can commit 10 hours per week to program learning and tasks. This includes daily activities you are probably already doing, like grocery shopping, exercise, cooking, etc.
